Now that we have gotten our "feet wet" in our class wiki, I quickly came to the realization that we need to learn a little bit about how to post a proper comment/reply on a blog or wiki. Believe it or not, there are a few rules out there when navigating through cypberspace.
For the purpose of our class wiki, we will adhere to a few rules. I would like for the class to collaboratively create rules for our class wiki. Read the article entitled //"The Comment Etiquette: The Guide To Proper Blog Commenting"// Take the time to READ the article. Do not navigate away from this article or post comments on that website. Simply read and complete the tasks below to receive your classwork grade for the day. These tasks are due during class.
TASKS:
After reading the article above, I would like for you to click on the discussion tab and write 1 rule for each of the following categories:
Category 1 (Safety) Write one wiki rule that deals with safety
Category 2 (Grammar) Write one wiki rule that deals with grammar
Category 3 (Politeness) Write one wiki rule that deals with being polite; having a difference in opinion
Your reply/comment should have a total of (3) rules. Check your spelling. I have to remember to do this as well.
Log onto RenWeb and read what your class typing assignment is for the day. Check for announcements. Re-read the course syllabus.
